Emerge by S.E. Hall (Book 1 - Evolve Series)

I have a major soft-spot for books with this kind of story-line. I inhale them. I neglect everything that would otherwise make me a good mom. Emerge was absolutely no exception.

I held my breath too often with this story. Got lightheaded more time than I can remember, or am willing to admit. There's a list of reasons I liked this story. I mean really linked this story. But I'll leave you with just one - DANE.

Shortest review ever, but the second book is calling my name.
